5. Magic Set Transformation:

Aside from the naive, semi-naive and iterated evaluation, it is possible to use the Magic Set transformation in order to enhance the performance of query evaluation in general. The Magic Set method for query evaluation is applied when the query flag is set to magic. In addition with the command view_rules/1 it is possible to print out the magic rules with respect to a given query which is shown in the following example:

Note that many other features and functions of the system (already indicated by the number of different flags) will be available soon. So it is worth to look for updates from time to time.
