Installation and First Steps

1. Installation

At first a directory ought to be created which the DatalogLab-Files can be unzipped in. After starting the ECLIPSe system the files can be compiled with the command compile('dirname/datalog') or simply with ['dirname/datalog']. Then the user must change to the datalog module by applying the command module(datalog). Afterwards the main loop of the program can be entered with the command datalog or as abbreviation simply with d. A sample session is given in the following picture:
 

The system starts by giving the actual values of internal flags and waits for the first command after the new prompt [DATALOG 1]> . A short introduction of how to use the DatalogLab is presented in the subsequent pages.
