OOSC - Object Oriented Software Construction

A course given for the B-IT, Bonn

Abstract: This course is intended for second semester Media Informatics Students of B-IT. It aims to teach fundamental object-oriented concepts and techniques for the design and implementation of complex and changing software systems. It is intended for graduate students, focussing on UML and methods, covering all development phases from requirements, elicitation to testing. It takes place on every Tuesday, 17:00 - 18:30 and Thursday, 16:30-18:00 in the B-it lecture room.

There will also be exercise courses on every second Tuesday (starting April, 18th 2006). Assignments will be published on the exercise page approx. one week before the exercises take place.

A mailing list has been created for the attendees of the lecture. It can be used to ask questions and discuss solutions to practice problems.

Requirements to be credited:

Graded written exam at the end of the course
Regular attendence to the practice group
