The Data Science & Intelligent Systems (DSIS) research group at the Computer Science Institute III, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany, lead by Professor Elena Demidova is looking for:
Student Assistants
to support our research and teaching activities.
The DSIS research group develops innovative methods to analyze very large spatio-temporal datasets in various application areas. Furthermore, we address controlled data sharing, usability, explainability, and traceability aspects of data analysis. Our teaching covers data science, information retrieval and data management topics.
Your profile:
- Enrolment as a student in Computer Science or a related area at the University of Bonn
- Keen interest in research
- Programming skills
- Successfully completed courses in some of relevant areas (machine learning, knowledge graphs, data analytics, information retrieval)
- Good communication and team skills
- Practical experience with some of current machine learning methods and libraries is a plus
